Rules

Booking Conditions and Arrival

  • To confirm your reservation, a 30% deposit is required.

  • Upon arrival, guests will need to pay a 600 € deposit in cash or with a credit card, which will be refunded at the end of the stay, provided that the house is left in the agreed-upon condition.

  • After checking the meter, the deposit for the electricity used will be charged (only if agreed upon at the time of rental).

  • Parking: Outdoor parking is available on the street in front of the house, no reservation required.

  • Upon prior request, we offer one crib and one high chair free of charge.

  • The second crib costs 15 € per day.

  • In rooms where an extra bed can be added (subject to availability), the cost will be 38 € per day (only if agreed upon at the time of rental).

Additional Notes

  • A few days before your arrival, it is necessary to contact the reception agency to inform them of your arrival schedule (flight/boat number) and to organize the key pickup.

  • Once at the destination, please contact us by phone and head directly to the accommodation or the previously agreed meeting point.

  • The reception office will contact you to confirm the time and place for key pickup.

  • Arrival outside reception hours:

    • a) Keys will be left in a security box. Any remaining amount, if applicable, must be paid the following day to the reception agency.
    • b) If there is no security box, please arrange for late arrival with the agency. A late arrival fee will be payable in cash upon arrival.
  • Late check-in after 23:00: Cost of 30 €.

  • If a late check-out is possible, the cost will be 50 € until 13:00 and 90 € before 17:00.

  • During low season, check-in and check-out times are flexible. Please contact the agency to agree on specific hours.

Attention!

Since July 2016, the government has implemented a tourist tax (ecotax):

  • 2.20 € per night per person for the first 8 days. Thereafter, 1.10 € per night per person. This tax does not apply to children under 16 years old.
  • This amount must be paid to the agency upon arrival.

    We are so so grateful to the owners of this villa who very conveniently live next door! (I am so sorry we didn’t learn their names). We were in a very desperate situation as we’d previously booked another villa and on the first day there was a power cut so we booked Villa Mari Pilli with a few hours notice and SM properties (who own the villa) quickly organised cleaners and were so caring and went above and beyond to help us. The villa itself is gorgeous and is 2 villas that sleeps 6 each. Lovely location in Porto Colom, so is the perfect villa if you are looking for a relaxing holiday but want to be able to walk to a shop/beach/restaurants. The owners regularly checked on us and were willing to help with anything we may need. We are so happy with our stay and you really saved our holiday, thank you!!
    There is only one air conditioning unit in the whole property which is in the kitchen. 3 of us had to move our mattresses into the kitchen as we were struggling to sleep.
