SPLENDID VILLA KOREMÁ IN PORTOCOLOM
If these photos don′t immediately make you long for Mallorca, you probably haven′t been to our favourite island and are clearly missing out. Although the landscape looks perfect, Villa "Koremá" is very real and awaits you with a garden full of lush lawns and palm, olive and almond trees.
The two-storey south-facing sandstone house has multiple patios, both covered and uncovered, so you can spend most of your time outdoors during the summer months. A large mosaic tiled swimming pool (16x6x1,9 m) with Roman steps provides a pleasant place to relax.
The courtyard is inspired by Italian architectural models and features a wrap-around balcony with the main fountain in the centre. You can enjoy your morning coffee in the sun on the patio and experience the exquisite Mediterranean lifestyle. At other times of the day, you can enjoy hearty meals by firing up the grill and turning fresh local produce into delicious roasts in the covered outdoor kitchen. On the other hand, the best way to enjoy the starry sky is from the two covered terraces, before you and your family or friends relax in the four elegant bedrooms.
The spacious bedrooms are equipped with two single beds or a double bed and each has a modern en-suite shower room. Each room is equipped with an individually adjustable fan and underfloor heating, making the house perfect for guests in the colder months (with a lower occupancy rate, too, you′ll get a substantial discount).
There are two sea view suites on the upper floor, while the other two suites are located on the ground floor with shared spaces. On the ground floor you will find an additional guest toilet, as well as a fully equipped Italian-style kitchen with a retro touch and delicately coloured tiles.
The bright heart of the house, comprising the living and dining room as well as a further sitting room, the central light of the house is wonderfully spacious through the coffered ceilings and terracotta tiles.
and terracotta tiles. Art Nouveau is skilfully combined with a touch of colonial interior design and oriental rugs. The result is a winning combination of individuality that makes the house truly special and gives you an unforgettable holiday experience.
NOTE: PARTIES AND CELEBRATIONS ARE NOT ALLOWED!
The luxury villa "Koremá" is located in the southern countryside of the island, between S′Horta and the coastal town of Portocolom.
S′Horta - a small Mallorcan village with less than 1000 inhabitants. With its rural character and its beautiful church it is one of the most typical villages in the municipality of Felanitx. It is situated on the road from Porto Colom to Cala d′Or, close to the beaches of Cala sa Nau and Cala Mitjana.
Portocolom is the port of Felanitx. It is a quiet fishing port located in the southeast of the island of Mallorca, being one of the largest natural harbours of the island, a refuge for many boats during the summer, looking for its calm waters. It is an excellent place for those who are looking for a place where they can find the typical marine charm, the charm of a fishermen′s port. The lighthouse overlooking the bay and the sanctuary of Sant Salvador stand out. The walks around the port are a marvel that thousands of tourists discover every year and many of them are already captive residents of our port. The strong growth suffered by Portocolom, as a result of the massive arrival of tourists and the construction of hotels, has not managed to destroy the image of a fishing port with its picturesque corners.
The coastline of Felanitx has numerous virgin and paradisiacal coves of exceptional beauty. The most extensive is Cala Marçal, which has all kinds of services. S′Arenal, near the lighthouse, is smaller in size. The rest of its coves, which are difficult to access, can be reached by boats that go on excursions from the port.
Apart from being a fishing port, we also find the "Club Náutico de Porto Colom" here, where many pleasure boats will start their trips along the coast.
Only 6 km away is the well-known tourist area of Cala D′Or, with a wide variety of shops, restaurants, pubs with live music and its beautiful marina. Nearby is the "Monasterio de San Salvador", with panoramic views over the island. The famous ′Cuevas del Drach′ are only a 20 minute drive away. In the harbour Porto Colom there is a wide range of water sports and boat trips along the beautiful coastline.
And golf lovers will find the Vall d′Or golf course only 8 km away. And the idyllic unspoilt beach of Cala Sanau with unforgettable atmosphere, bamboo chairs and beach bar is only 5 minutes away by car.
You can visit the lively weekly markets in the area on certain days. For example in Porto Colom on Tuesdays, in Felanitx on Sundays etc....
